A stunning mid-century dark oak bookcase with sliding glass doors and brass handles made in the 1940s. This bookcase would look great in a kitchen dinner, living room. study or hallway and could also be used as a cocktail cabinet.
The bookcase is made of solid oak which has been stained dark, finished with French polish and has a black ebonised skirting board around the bottom. Inside it has two shelves which can be adjusted and has double sliding doors with lovely brass inset handles. The bookcase has been restored by us in our workshop and is in good vintage condition.
Height: 82.0 cm Width: 91.0 cm Depth: 31.0 cm (inside shelf height each 20.0 cm but can be adjusted)
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
