A gorgeous sectional vintage barristers bookcase by Gunn dating from 1920s which has its original dark stained finish. "Barrister bookcases", were introduced in the early 20th century consisting of a series of glass fronted doors. This is a handsome specimen and has a lovely patina and would look amazing in a living room, study or kitchen dinner.
It is made of solid oak which has been stained dark and finished with French polish. It has four sections which each have glass doors which lift up. The bookcase comes in four section which makes it great for small spaces for ease of shipping and assembly. The bookcase has been restored by us in our workshop and is in good vintage condition.
