A gorgeous sectional vintage barristers bookcase in the style of Globe Wernicke dating from 1900s which has its original ebonised finish. "Barrister bookcases", were introduced in the early 20th century consisting of a series of glass fronted doors. This is a handsome specimen and has a lovely patina and would look amazing in a living room, study or kitchen dinner.
This cabinet comprises of two sections and has four glass doors and shelves to the top section with a single compartment and solid door to the bottom section. It is made of solid oak and is light oak on the inside and has been ebonised on the outside and is in good vintage condition. Please note there is a stain and also a light dent in the door of the lower cabinet cupboard but it does not detract from its beauty (please see photos).
