A rare Victorian free-standing box refrigerator by Amy & Navy CSL used by the Amy Officers during their campaigns. This is a great piece of history and could be used in the kitchen as a butchers block, mantique ice box for storing beer and wine or as an occasional table in the lounge.
Made of pine with its original wood grain paint effect this has a wonderful patina and has a lid which lifts up to reveal a zinc lined compartment for storing items. It comes on wooden bung feet and castors and also has handles to enable it to be carried around. This is a quirky piece that would look brilliant in any period interior.
Height: 79.0 cm, Width: 57.0 cm, Depth: 52.0 cm
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
