This rare Hutsul box table from Western Ukraine exudes a stunning, rustic wabi sabi feel when used as a console table or kitchen island. A very early form of table, this 19th century piece consists of a box on high legs and uniting stretchers, all crafted out of beech. The front features beautiful traditional chip-carved decoration, while the pine plank top served as a food store, prep table & diner.
