This is a an extremely rare and unique solid teak wood desk-dressing table with luggage rack which was designed by Florence Knoll in the late forties / early fifties for Knoll associates. It was originally commissioned and made in Singapore after the second world war and shipped over to the UK in the mid 1950s. This amazing piece of furniture would look stunning in a large hall, bedroom or lounge to finish off that mid century interior.
This very well preserved piece and shows the unique style of Florence Knoll, who studied architecture under Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Eliel Saarinen before joining her husband in the Knoll company. The furniture has three drawers on each unit and has a hidden desk and vanity area in each. Each upper drawer can flip open. Behind the right drawer you can find a writing desk. It has compartments for desk supplies and paper. The drawers sit on a teak stand with the icon knoll style black legs and both drawers and luggage rack can be interchange to make up a different configuration. This piece has been fully restored by us in our workshop and is in good vintage condition. The luggage rack was missing and we have sympathetically remade a solid team replacement similar to another one we found on the internet which sold in America.

As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
