We are selling this stunning afromosia teak mid century rocking chair by Lurashell Telstar, design in the 1960s by Walter S. Chenery. This is a rare find indeed which is in immaculate condition and very comfortable. It is a gorgeous colour and would look outstanding in any lounge or study.
The chair body is made from black fibreglass and is upholstered with a cream beige velvet which is in excellent condition. The base is made of shaped teak afromosia legs and again is in excellent condition. The chair has been restored by us in our workshop.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history and patina.
