An original female African Gabon Mask from the Punu tribe on stand. These make great displays on sideboards and console tables in hallways, dining rooms and lounges. They would have originally been used in African by dancers to bring good luck or ward off negativity at social gatherings. The mask is made of solid wood and painted in white and earthy colours. It is mounted on a solid antique teak wood stand and steel rod. There is a felt piece of fabric on the base to ensure it doesn't mark or scratch your furniture. Please note there is some woodworm holes but these have all been treated and are no longer active.
