Stunning set of eight bentwood No. 811 dining chairs designed by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet originally in the 1920s. Sometime known as the 'Prague' chair, this set was made by FMG (Poland) and purchased from The Conran Shop in the 1960s. The eight piece set comprises of six standard chairs and two carvers with arms.
The chairs are blonde beechwood frame with woven caned seat and back. All seats on the chairs are in excellent vintage condition with nice ageing and patina to the wood frames and one chair has been re-woven and all renovated by us in our workshop. We are selling these as a set and the price includes all eight chairs.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
