This lustrous set of four bentwood No. 811 chairs is a masterpiece of Josef Hoffmann's design. Fashioned for the Thonet brand in the 1920s, they have come to be known as the Prague chair. FMG (Poland) expertly crafted this four-piece set, which includes two standard chairs and two carvers with arms. Presented in a deep ebony hue, the chairs are marked by a graceful worn patina. The black beechwood frames are woven with caned seats and back, making them a sight to behold. In excellent vintage condition, the wood frames display a pleasing aged patina, with only the cane of one chairback being slightly damaged (please see photos).
