Lovely bentwood No. 811 chair with arms originally designed by Josef Hoffmann in the 1920s and made by Thonet . Sometimes known as the 'Prague' chair, this was made by FMG (Poland) made around the 1960s. This chair would look great paired with a teak desk for an office, in a hallway or a bedroom.
The chair is blonde beechwood frame with woven caned seat and back. The seat is in good vintage condition with nice ageing and patina to the wood frame. Sale is for a single chair with arms only. Please note the last photo show similar chair (without arms) we have sold before to show you how the chair looks with a desk.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
