This iconic Red and Blue Chair was originally designed in 1917 by Gerrit Rietveld. It represents one of the first explorations by the De Stijl art movement in three dimensions. This chair would look amazing in a minimalist interior or mancave.
This is a reproduction of the original chair from the 1990s and is made of beech wood and then painted in the iconic blue, red, black and yellow colours (please note there is no manufacturer's mark). There are some signs of wear and tear (please see photos) but it does not detract from the fact this is a stunning chairs and a piece of furniture history.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
