This unique black Medium wheel-thrown pottery comes from Shanxi province in Northern China. These antique black Chinese preserve pots were used by local wine/vinegar merchants and producers. They were used to store preserves and confit. These pots are vintage antiques and are around 60-80 years old. Each one is unique. Condition is never perfect, chips, crackle and imperfections are the norms. Early 20th antique Chinese Shanxi province pot.
