A very handsome early 20th Century Howard style deep button library chair with original brown leather. This is a lovely piece, very comfortable and would look great in a lounge or study.
The chair is made of a beech frame with mahogany legs and brass castors. The upholstered in genuine brown leather which is soft and in worn vintage condition which gives it a lovely patina. There are some repairs which have been made to the chair and the back has been replaced with a union jack fabric with brass studs around the edge. The item has been professionally restored in our workshops.
As this is vintage there are signs of 'wear & tear', we try to show any blemishes in our photos. We restore all pieces ourselves and feel blemishes do not detract from the beauty of the piece and shows its history.
